We’re delighted to announce that our fifth Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will take place on Friday 28th September 2018.
It is estimated that around 3 million women across the UK experience rape, domestic violence, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking and sexual exploitation and other forms of violence every year. This is the equivalent to the entire population of Wales (Report to the Secretary General 2006).
Join us to help raise awareness of the White Ribbon Campaign and men working to end male violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

- Please source your own shoes if possible as we only have a limited number available to hire on the day.
Become a White Ribbon Ambassador
We have once again arranged for a White Ribbon Ambassador Event to take place after the walk. This event is open to current White Ribbon Ambassadors and to men who are interested in becoming an Ambassador.
White Ribbon Ambassadors are men who act as formal representatives of the Campaign. Ambassadors are positive male role models who take a stand against male violence against women and encourage other men and boys to do so. This could involve speaking at events, talking to community groups, staffing information stands, coordinating social media campaigns, or more simply, talking to family, friends and colleagues about the Campaign. Whatever you feel most comfortable doing!

We know that many men are already actively engaged in this work and/or want to become more involved. Our aim is to create a Cardiff & Vale White Ribbon Ambassador network to enable men to share ideas, resources and support.
The Ambassador event is free and will take place at Cardiff Castle after the walk on Friday 28th September, 1.15pm – 3.30pm.
