Are you an excellent administrator who puts customers first? We are looking for a Housing Programmes Administrator to provide invaluable administrative support to the Housing Programmes team.
The team deal with our projects and programmes at Cadwyn and there is never a dull moment. This is a wide-ranging role, from understanding development handover procedures, lettings, estate and tenancy management, defects and repairs, as well as running amazing community events and building a community centre for residents. This is the ideal role for somebody looking to start a housing career.
You’ll deal with queries from tenants, landlords, customers and contractors to ensure our properties are managed professionally. You’ll be the first point of call for our team, delivering amazing customer focussed services.
You can take a hybrid/agile approach to your work, spending some of your time working from home and some of your time working from one of our offices as well as having a presence in our community. A typical week will involve taking repair calls, setting up new direct debits, liaising with our contractors to ensure repairs and safety certificates are carried out, accurately processing invoices and payments, ensuring they are coded to the correct cost account and liaising with colleagues and partners to ensure that new tenants are onboarded successfully.
We are taking on more units in our management this year and you will play a key role in welcoming new tenants in their homes to ensure that they stay for the long-term.
At Cadwyn our staff work in an agile way, working mostly at home (if appropriate to the role) with the ability to hot desk at our main office in Cardiff or to work from any other suitable/convenient location.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a positive and pro-active attitude
Have proven administrative experienceBe computer literate with good Microsoft Office skillsHave good literacy and numeracy skillsBe highly organised, able to manage and prioritise work in a timely manner
Hold a full driving licence and use of own car, though access to Cadwyn Pool Cars is available
