Cadwyn is a community housing association based in Cardiff. We are a diverse business with experience in social housing management and development, social lettings, market lets and sales, commercial regeneration and an amazing recycling project.
Due to recent changes and expansion in the team, we are looking to recruit a Compliance & Estates Surveyor to join our Property and Maintenance team.
This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of all landlord health and safety functions to ensure statutory compliance and best practice across the organisation’s homes. The role will assist the Compliance & Estates Lead to deliver all estates services and facilities management.
At Cadwyn our staff work in an agile way, working mostly at home (if appropriate to the role) with the ability to hot desk at our main office in Cardiff or to work from any other suitable/convenient location. This role will mostly be field based.

What we need someone who:
Is qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent in a construction related subjectIs competent with Microsoft Office packagesHas experience of Health & Safety and compliance in social housingHas strong technical knowledge of compliance in social housing, in particular fire safety, asbestos, legionella and HHSRS Has experience of engaging and managing contractors and working with tenantsIs well organized, able to prioritise workload
Has good people/communication skills
