We are excited to offer you an opportunity to get involved and help shape Cadwyn’s future. Our proposed partnership with Newydd Housing Association, which we have told you about previously, will provide the opportunity for the Board of Cadwyn Housing Association to focus on performance and service delivery. The new Cadwyn Board will have spaces reserved for tenants who will be able to influence how we deliver our services in future.   Are you interested in sitting on the Board or our tenant scrutiny panel?

1) Join our Board and earn from £3,500 a year

We are looking for tenants to join the Cadwyn Housing Association Board. As a Board Member, you will:

  • Bring your perspective and lived experience to discussions;
  • Learn new skills and contribute to important decisions;
  • Help improve our services and communities.

Training and support will be provided to all appointees.

Meetings: The Cadwyn Board meets 4 times a year (some virtual and some in person). Board meetings are usually held in the early evening and last for about two hours.  Some additional time commitments may be required for training and other Board events.

Term: Initially for a term of 3 years, with the possibility of serving up to 9 years.

Remuneration: From £3,500 per year*.

2) Join our Tenant Scrutiny Panel and get £25 vouchers for each meeting

We are also looking for new members of our Tenant Scrutiny Panel to discuss service delivery, tenant satisfaction, and more. Some meetings will be in person and some virtual, and they will be held approximately every two months.

Remuneration: £25 shopping voucher per meeting attended.
