Cadwyn is a community housing association based in Cardiff. We are a diverse business with experience in social housing management and development, social lettings, market lets and sales, commercial regeneration and an amazing recycling project.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated housing professional to lead not only the provision of services to our 1,500 units of core social housing stock but also oversee the management of our supported housing schemes and our successful furniture upcycling facility. Hearing and acting on the views of our tenants is also a key part of this role.
Potential applicants need to be aware that Cadwyn is currently in the process of considering becoming a subsidiary of the Newydd Housing Group. If this progresses Cadwyn will remain an independent registered social landlord within a larger organisation. Frontline housing management services will continue to be provided from Cadwyn.
At Cadwyn our staff work in an agile way, working mostly at home (if appropriate to the role) with the ability to hot desk at our main office in Cardiff or to work from any other suitable/convenient location.

What we need someone who has:
Significant relevant experience in a senior leadership role in social housing, with extensive experience at senior management level in the delivery of operational housing servicesExperience of leading, developing, motivating and managing teams of staff delivering a variety of servicesExperience of developing and delivering strategic plans that deliver corporate objectivesExperience of effectively setting and managing budgets and resourcesDetailed working knowledge of housing law and current housing issuesExcellent leadership, management, communication and negotiating skillsThe ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and offer high level support
